What is QDOR?

QDOR^TM is a quality program created by the Erosion Control Technology Council to raise the standard for performance testing of rolled erosion control products. The goal of the program is to provide users standardized test procedures and data. QDOR^TM is the mark of quality rolled erosion control products much like the well-recognized Underwriters Laboratory ©(UL) label.

How will it work?

A manufacturer will submit a product to the QDOR^TM Review Committee. The Committee will review the submittal for conformance to the QDOR^TM Guidance Manual. Committees will discuss and evaluate products on a trimester basis in association with the trimester ECTC meetings. Approved products will be allowed to use the QDOR^TM logo on marketing collateral and information pertaining to the specific product(s) that are approved.

When and where can I find these products?

Products will be available on the QDOR^TM website. Products will be updated following each trimester meeting.

Why should I care?

The QDOR^TM process will make it easier for a specifier to compare products on the same playing field and can make more efficient and productive product choices.
