Proper installation of RECPs is critical for a successful project. Even the best products will not work properly if not installed correctly. Just how easy is the installation of erosion control materials? After you choose one of the slope or channel application links below, click on any of the thumbnail drawings to see a PDF of the AUTO CADD drawings of each application. You may download the DWG drawing into Auto CADD 2000 (or later) for your use/modification.

The Erosion Control Technology Council (ECTC) is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to develop performance standards, uniform testing procedures, and guidance on the application and installation of rolled erosion control products ( RECPs ), hydraulic erosion control products (HECPs) and sediment retention fiber rolls (SRFRs). The ECTC promotes the use of erosion control mats and blankets through industry leadership and education in the hope of making a broad contribution to the science of erosion control and environmental preservation.
